Here are some ways you can make a difference

Volunteer Services

  • Coordinator:recruit volunteers, keep stewards informed

  • Welcome Ambassador: help on-board new stewards

  • Database Administrator: maintain records and reports

 

On the Trail and in the Field

  • Trail Steward: hike trails to provide information and assistance, monitor activities 

  • Trail Ambassador: staff trailheads to assist hikers and provide information

  • Field Scientist: conduct research, map resources, participate in conservation activities

 

Community Outreach

  • Community Ambassador: staff WTMC booth at events

  • Program Developer:  develop informational programs for communities and schools

  • Presenter:  present WTMC programs

 

Marketing

  • Coordinator:coordinate marketing team activities

  • Copy Writer:  write short stories and articles for publication in local media outlets and online

  • Social Media Coordinator:generate and post engaging content via Facebook and Instagram

  • Graphic Artist:  design posters, flyers, print materials

  • Photographer:take and post photographs and/or videos 

  • Mascot Entertainer/Handler: engage children at WTMC events, schedule and staff activities

 

Information Technology

  • IT Technician: update and maintain website, software support, maintain PayPal interface

  • Audio Visual Operator: set up, maintain and operate AV equipment
