The White Tank Mountains are at a critical stage in their history as development in the surrounding areas continues to grow at an unprecedented rate. Many other mountain ranges in the Phoenix area have lost much of their wildlife and vegetation due to ecological isolation caused by development.
The White Tank Mountains Conservancy is committed to finding solutions that will help conserve the natural heritage of the White Tank Mountains and provide an environment where humans and wildlife can coexist in harmony for generations to come.
