White Tank Wild Day
In 2021, the Mayors of Goodyear, Buckeye, Surprise, and Peoria proclaimed Earth Day (April 22nd) as White Tank Wild Day. Last year, using this as our giving day, we encouraged donations via social posts and media blasts. Our goal last year was $20,000. With a $10,000 pledge from Teravalis, a community of Howard Hughes Holdings, and support from two other corporate sponsors, plus the generosity of the public, we exceeded our goal, ultimately raising $43,000.
With a current pledge of $10,000 from Teravalis, a Howard Hughes Community, $5,000 from another corporate partner, and $15,000 from an individual donor, we look forward to increasing this year's fundraising goal to $50,000! Will you help us reach our goal?
There are more ways than one to help! Show your support on social media by letting your followers know today is the day to support the White Tank Mountains Conservancy by posting #WhiteTankWildDay or send out the following text message to loved ones to spread the word:
