Summer Photo Contest

Are you sorting through photos taken at White Tank Mountain this summer? Submit your favorite images for a chance to win a prize and be featured in the WTMC 2027 calendar.
The contest is open to amateur photographers. Photos must be taken in the White Tank Mountains and submitted by August 31 at 11:59 p.m.

Winners will be displayed at the Diamond in the Desert fundraiser on October 28

ELIGIBILITY & RULES
- Open to amateur photographers (no photographers who sell images for a profit)
- Photos must be taken in the White Tank Mountains
- Each person may submit two (2) photographs.
- All photographs will become the property of WTMC and will be used for marketing and promotion with credit to the photographer (when possible).
- No drone photographs within the Regional Parks.
- Photos must be taken in accordance with Leave No Trace principles.
- No harassment or disturbance of wildlife or vegetation.
- Wildlife must not be baited.
- No entering closed areas.
- Format high-resolution TIFF or JPEG format via email with the name of the photographer, the location (park or trail), and the name of the image (if applicable).
- Any images with people will need to be 1. Identify the individual(s) and 2. have a photo release submitted along with the image.
- Minor manipulation, color corrections, exposure, and cropping are allowed. Adding or deleting major elements in the original will be disqualified.
- AI images will not be considered.
- Submission deadline: August 31 at 11:59 p.m.
- Submitted via email at submit@wtmconservancy.org as an attachment.
