Join Conservancy volunteers and naturalists, Chuck & Betty Mulcahy, for a fascinating presentation on the important role that snakes play in desert life. There will be an opportunity to get up close and personal with several non-venomous species, including Rex, the Kingsnake, and some of his scaly friends!
Bring the family and join in the fun activities happening throughout the park. Stop by the Nature Center and visit with Conservancy volunteers. Rudy the Roadrunner will also be there to entertain and educate children of all ages.
Stop by and chat with Conservancy volunteers while enjoying a thrill-filled day of air and ground displays. Rudy the Roadrunner will be making a guest appearance! You will find us in the Arizona SciTech Festival area.

Desert Defenders team members will be at the Waterfall Trailhead in the White Tank Mountain Regional Park from 9 am - 11 am on Saturday, October 9. They will be educating residents and visitors about the invasive plant species that threaten the mountains and recruiting volunteers for mapping using a mobile app.
